When you place your face into the cutout panel, you can hear a story about Anna, told in Anna-chan’s own voice, through a small speaker hidden near your ear.
While doing so, you may be seen by people passing by on the other side of the gallery’s glass wall.
Only by accepting that sense of exposure and keeping your face in the panel for about two minutes can you listen to Anna’s narration.

顔はめパネルに顔をはめると、耳元に仕込まれた小さなスピーカーから、アンナちゃんの声で語られたアンナちゃんのエピソードを聞くことができる。
顔をはめるとき、ガラス張りのギャラリー壁面の向こうを往来する人々からその様子を見られる可能性がある。
その抵抗を飲み込み、約2分間顔をはめた場合に限り、アンナちゃんの語りを聞くことができる。

"Paraphrase03"
A video approximately five minutes long, containing Anna’s important stories about her name, her parents, and other aspects of her identity, plays on a continuous loop.

The audio, however, has been removed, so the audience cannot hear her voice.

Instead, her narration is continuously reenacted by a performer. The audience can hear Anna’s words only through the performer’s voice.
Before the performance begins, each performer is instructed: “Please try to become Anna.”
They repeat this act for six hours a day over the course of eight days.The fluctuations in their condition—the projection of the self, the inability to project the self, the fatigue itself—constitute the work.

アンナちゃんの名前や両親についてなど、アイデンティティに関する重要な語りが収録された映像（約5分程度）がループで流れつづけている。
その音声はカットされており、観客はそれを聞くことができない。
その代わりにその語りはパフォーマーによって絶えず再演され続ける。観客は、パフォーマーの発声を介してのみアンナちゃんの言葉を聞くことができる。
パフォーマーには、パフォーマンス開始前に「アンナちゃんになりきろうとしてください」と指示を出してある。一日6時間を8日間、繰り返してもらう。自己の投影、自己の投影できなさ、疲れなどのコンディションの揺れそのものを作品としている。
